Whilst I didn’t end up going with the policy from SunSmart SC for my solar and battery, they were certainly at the top of my preferences and they were excellent to speak to, discuss options with, and really catered my policy to what would’ve suited my property very well. Their pricing is really competitive and their team, especially Alex and Josh, were really awesome to deal with and customer service was excellent. I’d highly recommend having SunSmart SC at the top of anyone’s list who is considering a high quality solar installation package with great customer service alongside! Thanks guys 🙏🏼

We had Sunsmart’s install solar then later home batteries they are a professional team I recommend. A few things didn’t quite work at first i think it was a complicated install. They worked through it by replacing the charger which is not their fault. I was happy with their follow up until everything was working properly.

This is the second time we have used SunSmart. The first was to upgrade our solar panels and battery, and because of the service we received then, there was honestly no need to look anywhere else when we needed our EV charger installed.
Once again, the boys did a great job.
I would be remiss if I didn’t specifically mention JD. He was extremely thorough in his role as Supervisor, but what particularly impressed me was watching the way he instructed and directed his team and, importantly, mentored his apprentice.
We all want good tradespeople, but good tradespeople don’t just happen. They need experienced people who are prepared to take the time to teach, guide and mentor the next generation. Watching JD do exactly that was wonderful to see.
His professionalism was reflected not only in the quality of his own work, but in the standard he expected from those working alongside him.
If JD and his apprentice are anything to go by, there is certainly hope for the next generation of tradies!
Thank you again, SunSmart. You have now looked after us twice, and should we need you again, we know exactly who we’ll be calling.

In Oct 2024, hailstorm damaged our solar panels. But our insurance company sent their own solar company to check and told us that our solar panels were good. We insisted to get them checked again. For the second time, our insurance company said they would not compensate us as the solar panels were still good. So we decided to get SunSmart to check for us. Josh told me that he would come and check for us. If nothing wrong with the panels, then no charge. However, if he found damages then we would have to pay $500 for the report to be submitted to our insurance company. We were so happy that we engaged SunSmart to do the testing as the inspection showed severe damages and our insurance company had no choice but approved the replacement.

So thank you Josh and all the installers of SunSmart that installed of new solar panels. They were efficient and cleaned up before they left our place.

Also we appreciate the co-ordination done by Callum who arranged the installation job to be done at a time that suitable to us and them. He always let me know when would they be coming and also replied promptly to my calls and questions.

We also installed a battery as recommended by Josh. He came to explain and answer all our questions about the solar battery. So we decided to go ahead. And we were happy that we got a solar battery installed in Nov 2025. They also called to check if everything was ok after the installation.

Today (29/9/26), I called Callum to send someone to check on our air conditioning units as they were not working …. as we thought it was due to the installation of the solar battery. Callum was quick to response and send JD. Now everything is working fine. We are happy for all the services provided by SunSmart. I recommended SunSmart to my friend and she has also installed solar systems at her house by SunSmart.

We will recommend Sunsmart to our friends if any of them want to get a solar system.
To us, they are efficient, prompt in they reply ( sometimes just have to wait a bit as they are busy) and easy to deal with. And the price is also very reasonable and compatible. So thank you so much Josh, Callum, Harry, Zeb, and JD for your help in providing good service in installing our solar panels, solar battery and checking on my AC.
They also provide good customer service as they will always make sure our calls will be attend to by the receptionist and forward to the relevant departments.
Please keep up with all the good works you have done. :-))))
